Temporary Registration

If you are taken poorly when you are away from your home and staying in a different catchment area, for example staying with family members, staying with friends or working away from home and require medical treatment you can register as a ‘temporary patient’. A temporary patient must be staying in that ‘temporary area’ for longer than 24 hours but less than 3 months.

Temporary patients will still remain registered with their permanent GP, but can see a temporary GP for up to three months, maximum of 6 months (consecutively) ONLY.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the surgery for more details. The practice will not accept you as a temporary patient if you are residing within the catchment / local surrounding area.
